The head of the Libyan government assigned by the Libyan House of Representatives, Fathi Bashagha, said in an exclusive statement to our source that the value allocated in the government budget regarding the marriage support fund is 2 billion, and that the distribution will not be random and we will not put citizens in a trouble like what happened with the Dbeibeh government.

He continued by saying that the Dbeibeh government had put a wrong mechanism in the marriage support fund, and with it, large sums of money were wasted that did not reach those who deserve it. We in the Libyan government will put in place a clear mechanism for this fund so that those who need this support can benefit from it without randomness.”

He added: “Today we see the results of the wrong work done by the fund and those who managed it, and the youth demonstrations everywhere as a result of the lack of a clear plan.”
