Libya’s Ambassador to Italy, Mohannad Younis, confirmed exclusively to our source that the funds of the Libyan embassy in Italy have been frozen.
According to Younis, the reason goes back to lawsuits filed against the embassy related to old debts and outstanding dues, some of which date back more than 15 years. He stressed that efforts are underway to find a final solution to this crisis.
