According to the information, the secondment had ended in September 2025; however, the individual in question continued to perform the duties of General Manager after the legal period had expired.
According to sources, during that period he issued decisions to dismiss a number of employees, including heads of the company’s labor unions who had reported suspected corruption. Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority addressed Afriqiyah Airways regarding the ineligibility of the aforementioned General Manager, due to his failure to meet the required technical and administrative criteria for the position.
