Exclusive: Contract Between Former and Current NOC Heads Reveals Privileges of Masoud Suleiman — Salary in Euros, Annual Raises, and Broad Powers

Our source has exclusively obtained a contract signed between the former Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Bengdara, and its current Chairman, Masoud Suleiman, which stipulates that the latter receives a monthly salary— in his capacity as Chairman of the Mediterranean Company—amounting to €22.4K, with an annual increase of 3%.

The contract states that Masoud Suleiman holds full authority to represent the company and sign on its behalf, in addition to directly managing commercial and financial operations under the supervision of the Board of Directors of (MOSC), with automatic renewal of the contract.

It also specifies that the company covers all necessary expenses and costs incurred by the executive director in the course of performing his duties.

It also guarantees salary payment for up to three months in case of illness.
