Exclusive: Nuran Bank Customers Accuse the Bank of Mishandling Their Funds Despite High Annual Fees
A number of customers of Nuran Bank expressed strong dissatisfaction over what they described as a serious violation and unacceptable negligence regarding customers’ funds. They stated that amounts in Libyan dinars were deducted from their accounts under the pretext of depositing the equivalent value in US dollars to complete the shipment of personal goods, yet no such deposits have been made so far, in what they consider a clear and explicit breach of the most basic banking rules.
The customers added that this action places the bank under full legal responsibility and raises serious questions about the credibility and transparency of its financial dealings. They also pointed to what they described as high annual deductions even from dormant accounts.
The customers held the bank’s management fully responsible for this error, demanding the immediate return of the deducted amounts without any delay, along with an urgent official clarification. They stressed that if the issue is not resolved immediately, they will proceed with all legal measures and escalate the matter through the relevant authorities without hesitation.
