Exclusive: Islamic Call Society initiates legal action to remove a “parallel” company from Dat Al-Imad Complex
A responsible source at the Islamic Call Society told our source that legal procedures have been initiated to remove a “parallel” company that has been impersonating the Libyan African Investment Company (LAICO) for months under the name “Al Buhaira Hotel Equipment Company.” The company was granted access to the Dat Al-Imad investment complex by Abubakr Al-Trabelsi without any contract or legal basis, along with other entities.
The source explained that Al-Trabelsi had allocated the fifth floor of Tower 1, the third floor of Tower 3, a ground-floor kiosk office in Tower 3, Meeting Room 25, and another meeting hall on the first floor to various parties without any contracts and without generating any revenue for the complex. He confirmed that legal action has now begun against the occupants of these spaces for unlawfully exploiting the premises, exposing them to legal accountability.
The source added that the Society’s legal office, based on instructions from its legal representative, has initiated procedures to prevent the presence of any “parallel” entities or companies operating without official contracts under any circumstances, and to take all necessary measures to safeguard the Dat Al-Imad Complex.
