Exclusive: Confirming Sada’s Earlier Report, Documents Reveal Theft of Copper Cables and Pipes Estimated at 600 Meters, with Accusations Directed at Employees of the Abu Bakr Al-Trabelsi Committee
Our source has exclusively obtained documents proving the theft of copper cables and pipes estimated at approximately 600 meters of copper from the Dat El Emad Investment Complex. The Islamic Call Society accused employees affiliated with the Abu Bakr Al-Trabelsi Committee of involvement in the theft, according to exclusive statements given to Sada Economic.
According to the documents, the Islamic Call Society addressed the General Manager of the Dat El Emad Investment Complex regarding several theft incidents targeting the complex’s facilities. The stolen items reportedly included copper pipes belonging to the air conditioning system, a cooling unit, pump motors, 40 paint containers, 20 water pumps, as well as an air compressor and an external air conditioning unit belonging to the Mellitah Oil & Gas.
The documents further confirmed the existence of an official technical report verifying the theft, noting that the losses would not be limited to the value of the stolen materials alone, but would also include additional costs related to restarting implementation work from scratch, in addition to inevitable delays in the project delivery schedule.
