Our source exclusively obtained documents detailing the operating budget of the National Oil Corporation and its subsidiaries. The documents showed that expenditures by Nafusa Oil Company exceed LYD 30 million, including LYD 317,000 for local training, LYD 476,000 for overseas training, LYD 1.3 million in benefits for nationals and expatriates, more than LYD 400,000 for conferences and exhibitions, and LYD 1.2 million for telecommunications.
According to the documents, LYD 797,000 was spent on public utilities, more than LYD 2 million on rent, more than LYD 2 million on insurance, LYD 19,000 on advertising, LYD 1.5 million on professional and technical services, LYD 1.2 million on consumer goods, LYD 53,000 on printed materials and stationery, LYD 313,000 on medicines and medical supplies, LYD 2.5 million on maintenance, LYD 7.2 million on oil-well maintenance, and LYD 9.6 million on production expenses.
