The Director of Shipping at Libyan Wings Airlines, Salah Shneiba, told our source that: “This event is the first of its kind for shipping companies in Libya. It is a beautiful idea and we congratulate the organizers of it, although it is the first time.”
He added: “This participation comes to introduce the shipping department of the Libyan Wings Airlines and the services we provide, so that customers are informed about the company’s capabilities, as well as clarifying the concept of shipping.”
He also continued: “Airlines Wings Company is well known in this field and represents an example for other companies, especially with regard to punctuality. We came to highlight what we have in shipping goods and supplies.”
He explained: “The most prominent obstacles we face are the usual procedures imposed by the authorities. The exchange rate is also affected at times, with the increase in the price of fuel, which affects the total costs, leading to a decrease in the company’s profits, so we remain confused between raising the price and fearing the customer’s rejection or Exposure to losses.”
He concluded: “We need many decisions to change the reality of our work, the most important of which is improving services at airports, by providing an appropriate environment for all types of goods. We also seek to facilitate customs procedures for citizens.”
