The liquidity team of the Central Bank of Libya revealed exclusively to our source that the Jumhouria Bank had received a liquidity shipment of 30 million dinars from Gharyan issuance department, as part of the Central Bank of Libya’s plan to provide liquidity in all branches of commercial banks and in all regions of Libya.
4 million of them were allocated to Gharyan branch, 4 million to Al-Asabaa branch, 4 million to Al-Chaqiqa branch, 4 million to Qalaa branch, 3 million to Nesma branch, 3 million to Al-Qawasim branch, 3 million to Gharyan Islamic banking, 2 million to Marada branch, and 2 million to Al-Qaryat branch. The liquidity team works in coordination with commercial banks to implement a work plan to provide liquidity on a daily and regular basis in bank branches until the blessed Eid Al-Adha.
