The French publication Africa Intelligence reported on Thursday that banking relations between Tripoli and Paris are witnessing noticeable progress. However, obstacles related to banking compliance remain due to the House of Representatives’ failure to adopt the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Law.
The publication added that the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya intends to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the banking sector. At the same time, many French institutions continue to face challenges related to the country’s current situation, according to the report.
