French website Africa Intelligence reported on Wednesday that an alliance involving French energy giant TotalEnergies is facing pressure in its dealings with Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) over accumulated debts.
The French website noted that, after Kuwait’s Al-Kharafi Group had been involved in a dispute with the Libyan state for nearly 15 years, it was finally granted permission to seize assets held by the National Oil Corporation in France, according to the French website.
