The French website Africa Intelligence reported on Monday that the National Oil Corporation, TotalEnergies, and ConocoPhillips are facing difficulties in an oil project in the Jalu region.
The French outlet confirmed that, after several delays, the South Korean company Daewoo E&C—which had originally won the tender at the end of 2025 to build infrastructure for the concession located in eastern Libya—has also withdrawn from the project due to budget-related reasons, according to the report.
