The French intelligence website Africa Intelligence reported today, Sunday, that the National Oil Corporation’s project in the south of the country has come to a complete halt.
The website indicated that construction of the refinery in the city of Fezzan stopped due to disagreements over budget estimates, and that Zallaf Libya Oil & Gas—affiliated with the National Oil Corporation and managing the project—has faced problems with its subcontractor Petrofac, according to the website.
