French outlet Africa Intelligence reported on Wednesday that a Qatari company and the National Oil Corporation (NOC) have signed a US$1 billion contract, raising concerns.
The outlet reported that the NOC recently signed an oil agreement with UCC Holding, a highly influential company. However, according to the French publication, the unusually favorable terms of the agreement have raised questions among the public authority responsible for financial investigations.
