The French intelligence website Africa Intelligence reported on Sunday that three companies are competing to build oil and gas facilities in the northern area of Jalu City.
According to the website, Waha Oil Company is currently reviewing bids from Petrofac, Saipem, and Daewoo Engineering & Construction for the development of its oil infrastructure in eastern Libya. Although the project was initially scheduled to begin in 2027, it is now behind schedule, according to the French source.
