The Observer of Brega economy, Ahmed Taher Al-Maqrif, told our source that « The city of Brega is a remote area, and we do not have a wholesale market for vegetables, but we follow the city of Ajdabiya in this regard. As for vegetables, there has been a significant increase since the beginning of Ramadan, it has witnessed a clear decrease in its prices today. »

He added: « The campaigns carried out by the municipality of Ajdabiya and the Municipal Guard have resulted in setting the prices of many items. We also have a major role as monitoring the economy in this matter. Tomorrow or the day after we have a meeting with the supervisory and regulatory authorities in the region to set up a mechanism for approving prices that can be even a daily bulletin for follow-up. »
