Oil expert Othman Al-Hdhiri told our source in a statement regarding the resignation of Central Bank Governor Naji Issa: “In my view, it certainly will not be accepted at this stage, but it calls for a calm and responsible assessment of its causes and implications, away from political exploitation.”
Al-Hdhiri added: “As for the increase in the fuel bill, it is a concerning indicator and has its reasons, which no one wants to disclose. This will have a direct impact on the cost of living and also calls for greater transparency and practical solutions to protect citizens’ purchasing power.”
