Our source obtained a correspondence from the Head of the Administrative Control Authority “Abdullah Gaderbouh”, in which he requests “Aguila Saleh” to address the Constitutional Court and issue immediate instructions to the Authority and the Central Bank of Libya to continue implementing the provisions of Law No. (2) of 2023 regarding contract oversight, in a step some considered a push toward judicial division due to its disregard of a ruling by the highest judicial authority in the country.
This is despite the issuance of a ruling by the Supreme Court regarding the competencies of the Audit Bureau in contract oversight.
