Exclusive: LPTIC Board Cancels Decision to Transfer Responsibilities and Dissolves Issuing Committee
A reliable source from within the Libyan Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Company told our source that the company’s Board of Directors met today and decided to suspend the implementation of Decision No. 25. The Board also decided to dissolve the advisory committee that had prepared the decision.

He further stated that the LPTIC’s Board of Directors will communicate with all stakeholders, specialists, unions, and experts to reach the best possible proposals for structuring the separation of responsibilities.
He continued, saying that these decisions and others came after months of discussions, feedback from experts, and extensive internal deliberations to arrive at the best outcome, with the support of specialists from companies, unions, institutions, and consulting firms.
According to the source, the Board of Directors of the LPTIC remains committed to moving forward with best practices for separating responsibilities in the future, in cooperation with all stakeholders.
