Exclusive: Minister Al‑Abed Mandates Bank Contracts and POS Devices for Private Schools to Obtain or Renew Operating Licenses

Our source has obtained, exclusively, a circular from the Ministry of Education in the Government of National Unity addressed to the private education offices within the regional education directorates.

The circular conveys the Minister’s instructions that issuing or renewing an operating (practice) license is contingent upon submitting proof of a contract with one of the banks and receipt of a POS (point‑of‑sale) terminal from that bank, in accordance with a letter from the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya.
