The head of the media team at the Ministry of Finance in the Government of National Unity, Omar Bseisa, revealed exclusively to our source the developments of the unified salary scale.
He said: “The Ministry of Finance in the Government of National Unity had referred the proposal for the unified salary scale to the Council of Ministers.”
He added: “Whereas, the Prime Minister had assigned a ministerial committee headed by the Minister of Finance, Dr. Khaled Al-Mabrouk to study a unified salary schedule, and after about ten meetings, it referred the proposal to the government. In turn, the Council of Ministers referred it to Parliament, and after that it was referred for discussion in the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives.”
“Earlier, the draft in its final form had been studied by the National Planning Council, and now it is before the Presidency of the House of Representatives for consideration and approval”, according to Bseisa.
