An official in the media department of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, Abdulbasit Ammar, said in a statement during their participation in the forty-eighth Tripoli International Fair: “Libyan Iron and Steel Company is a company wholly owned by the Libyan state, employing more than 7,000 workers and more than 90% of them are workers.” The company is considered one of the most important tributaries of the national economy, and it depends mainly on its production capacity as well as operational capabilities.”
He added: “It has always and continuously been keen to participate in the sessions of the Tripoli International Fair years ago and it will continue to participate, as well as there are participations for it outside the borders of the country, such as Tunisia and Egypt, or any exhibition held in particular, and this is to introduce the national industry and also to push the national economy.”
He added: “After a few days, there will be a participation in the Libya Build exhibition on the grounds of the Tripoli International Fair, and when the opportunity arises to participate outside the borders of the country, the company does not continue to introduce the Libyan product, whether on the Arab or African level.”
