LYD 87.3 Million Up in Smoke in Expenditures… Rent Alone Amounts to LYD 14.7 Million at Harouge Oil Operations
Documents obtained by our source revealed that Harouge Oil Operations Company spent LYD 87.302 million from the additional allocation for Chapter Two for 2026, covering a number of operational items and other expenses.
According to the document, LYD 20.072 million was allocated for periodic oil-well maintenance, while the company spent LYD 17.114 million on periodic oil-well maintenance and LYD 32.512 million on operational production expenses.
The data also showed that Harouge Oil Operations spent LYD 14.727 million on rent from its additional operational allocations, in addition to LYD 5.751 million on maintenance and LYD 4.216 million on public utilities expenses.
The expenditures also included LYD 5.168 million for insurance, LYD 1.873 million for consumer goods, LYD 3.794 million for other benefits for employees and expatriates, and LYD 3.391 million for telecommunications.
The document stated that Harouge Oil Operations allocated LYD 1.808 million for overseas training, compared with LYD 101,000 for local training.
According to the data, total operational expenditures and other expenses at Harouge Oil Operations amounted to LYD 87.302 million, out of an additional allocation of LYD 2 billion for Chapter Two for 2026.
