Shakshak addresses the Minister of Finance of National Unity Government for violating the law

Our source obtained exclusively the letter of the head of the Tripoli Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak to the Minister of Finance of the National Unity Government, Khaled Al-Mabrouk, canceling the authorizations issued by the Ministry regarding the adoption of the government spending proposal and the distribution of financial allocations to administrative units for 2021, as these authorizations are in violation of the provisions of the law of the state’s financial system and that the rule (1/12) part of twelve of the appropriations of the general budget 2020 had no basis, and not classified, which weakens the ministry’s control at the level of items, with the legislator’s goal being fulfilled by the provisions of the law of the financial system of the state.

Khaled Shakshak also called for adherence to spending with administrative units in accordance with the spending rule (1/12) of the appropriations or arrangements of the previous fiscal year authorized in accordance with the terms of the financial and interest mandates received during the fiscal year of 2020.
