An informed source from the General Electricity Company stated that calls for a protest by company employees were launched a few days ago through social media, in order to demonstrate tomorrow, Monday, June 6, 2022, in front of the Prime Ministry on the railway road in Tripoli and the parliament headquarters in Tobruk, and in a number of headquarters and main departments affiliated with the company.
This came in order to achieve a number of demands, including the increase in salaries and health insurance, the provision of occupational safety and security equipment, the disbursement of the additional with the salary, and the disbursement of overdue benefits to retirees and the deceased.
