The General Coordinator of the Senate of Libya, Al-Sanussi Al-Barasi, stated exclusively to our source that: “This visit is an encouragement to the Libyan industry, and we also demand here the ministries of economy and of industry to protect the Libyan goods available for their importance.”
He added: “Also, because the market is open, there are those who enter many goods from abroad from Turkey and Tunisia, and so there is no complete protection for local goods.”
He continued by saying: “This results in weakness in the Libyan market, and this matter is dangerous and it is necessary for the relevant ministries to pay attention to it.”
In conclusion, he said: “We hope that there will be more encouragement and support for the Libyan product during the coming period.”
