The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Budget Execution Affairs Ibrahim Akra held a meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for Job Affairs Hamid Masoud, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Bureau and Institutions Affairs Ali Al-Tabrouri and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs Masouda Al-Aswad.
The meeting dealt with developments regarding the financial releases, as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance confirmed during the meeting that the releases will be disbursed soon based on the correspondence received by the Ministry of Civil Service and based on the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, referred to in the letter of the Director of the Department of Follow-up at the Cabinet’s Office on March 22, 2022 under the title « Important and Urgent », during which he stressed the need to finalize and implement the financial release file before the blessed month of Ramadan, and based on the painful correspondence of the Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Affairs to the Ministry of Finance, which confirmed taking the necessary measures to include salaries of teachers with defaulted contracts, to be among the allocations of Chapter One of the Ministry of Education and coordination with it in particular.
The attendees also stressed the need for coordination between ministries to work on achieving what is required as soon as possible.
