The Vice-President of the General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Sabri Al-Bouishi, said during a press conference held by the authority today, Tuesday, in response to a question by our source regarding the authority’s measures taken to a good and free of negligence organization in serving pilgrims this season, saying: “We have taken all the considerations that stipulate the Hajj season. We started working before the Saudi authorities announced that there would be a pilgrimage this year, and we also worked as a team unit in the Board of Directors, and we took all the considerations that would be put forward by the Saudi authorities.”

He added: “There was a committee headed by us during the past months, where we conducted a comprehensive survey of all hotels and transport companies for catering, especially since we know that the level of pilgrims in the State of Libya is excellent in the central region. We also tried to make, during this year, work and standards in Hajj be better than the previous years for our pilgrims until we reach their homeland in peace and safety, starting from the transport lines to the Holy Land to performing the rituals in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.”
