In an exclusive statement to our source, Eng. Mohamed Asti, Technical Director of Arkanu Oil Services Company<\/em>, revealed that the company has officially begun development operations at the Mezda and Sarir oil fields with the goal of increasing production. This follows the signing of an agreement with the National Oil Corporation, allowing Arkanu to carry out well maintenance work at both fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asti explained that the purpose of the conference is to introduce the company, emphasizing that Arkanu aims to enter the energy optimization sector, support the NOC, and attract both local and international investors, stating that \u201cinvestment in energy is Libya\u2019s future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that Arkanu’s team includes 5 to 6 Libyan engineers with more than 20 years of experience in the oil industry, and the company has contracted with the global firm Schlumberger<\/em> to benefit from the latest services and technologies in this vital sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Ridwan Ben Saud<\/em>, Director of Production and Reservoirs at Arkanu, confirmed to our source that the company is entirely Libyan and operates in the private sector. It aims to cooperate with both local and international partners to support Libya\u2019s economy and ease the burden on the state budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He pointed out that Arkanu\u2019s vision is to invest in Libyan talent in the oil sector and to increase production through advanced and rapid solutions. \u201cThe private sector is more flexible than the public sector,\u201d he said, \u201cand it has the capacity to open up new horizons for growth while adhering to Libyan laws and supporting the national human resource.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also revealed that the company\u2019s workforce has now reached 200 employees, after starting with just two individuals, adding: \u201cIn less than 10 months, we succeeded in raising production to 43,000 barrels per day \u2014 a significant achievement for a startup in the Libyan market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben Saud concluded his statement by saying: \u201cDespite the rumors, Arkanu<\/em> consists of qualified Libyan youth. With the support of patriotic businessmen, our sole aim is to increase production with national expertise \u2014 far from any other agendas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
