Licensed exchange companies and offices are also authorized to process transactions through banks\u2019 point-of-sale (POS) terminals\u2014owned by Libyan banks\u2014using cards issued by local or foreign banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deducted amounts from both local and foreign cards are converted into Libyan dinars and deposited into foreign currency accounts dedicated to licensed activities.
