It said that in <strong>2024<\/strong> it had requested approval for this amount, but the <strong>Administrative Control Authority<\/strong> rejected the request, describing the proposed expenditure as &#8220;too large.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Society, the project was already <strong>95% complete<\/strong> before the contract with the private company was signed, making the expenditure of more than <strong>LYD 65 million<\/strong> to finish the remaining work a matter that <strong>raises suspicions of corruption and warrants investigation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Society also claimed that awarding the mall project to the <strong>Gaddad family<\/strong> deprived the organization of <strong>rental income from the project for several years<\/strong> and denied its employees priority in employment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It further alleged that <strong>Abu Bakr Al-Tarabulsi<\/strong> allocated the plot of land opposite the mall to a company owned by the <strong>Gaddad family<\/strong> under an annual lease, the details of which <strong>have not yet been disclosed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Society stated that several employees working on the Qurji Da\u2019wah Mall project were dismissed after the project was completed.
