These funds will be sold to commercial banks in the coming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This brings the total volume of demand received by the Central Bank for <strong>letters of credit and transfers alone to approximately US$14 billion<\/strong>, covering the market&#8217;s needs for the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Central Bank further confirmed that it will <strong>continue selling foreign currency to commercial banks for all purposes<\/strong> in order to meet domestic market demand for various goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Central Bank, the policy aims to <strong>absorb accumulated demand and stabilize the market<\/strong>, particularly in terms of exchange rates and the availability of goods across different categories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Bank of Libya told our source exclusively that the total amount of foreign currency sold to commercial banks as of July 21, 2026, reached US$15.7 billion, equivalent to approximately 100 billion Libyan dinars.
