Exclusive: GECOL Spokesperson Reveals Resumption of Operations at Tobruk Gas Plant with Several Details

The spokesperson for the General Electricity Company, Wiam Al-Taib, revealed in an exclusive statement to Sada Economic Newspaper regarding the power outage issue at the Tobruk station. The operations at the Tobruk station have resumed today after supplying it with the required fuel. Thus, we officially announce the re-entry of the first gas unit at the station after it went out of service yesterday due to fuel shortages.

He concluded by saying: “There are no damages resulting from the outage, and we express our gratitude to the head of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Bengdara, for his handling of this issue and providing the necessary fuel to operate the station.”
