The Director of Shipping at the Global Aviation, Usama Khalil, told our source: “We participated in the first international exhibition of shipping and delivery services for the purpose of marketing and advertising for the company. For us, the first flight in the air transport service for passengers was in 2003, and the first shipping flight was in 2006”
He added: “As for shipping, we have agents in the European Union, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and Turkey. Currently, we are transporting passengers inside Libyan airports, and soon international flights.”
He continued his speech: “The most important problem that faces us is the instability of the exchange rate, and this affects the amount of freight customers. We hope that the price of fuel will be reduced in order to reduce the price of flight tickets and air freight prices.”
