Exclusive: Sources to Sada – Customs Director Violates Laws by Transferring Misrata Center Authority and Granting Export Approvals Illegally

Our sources revealed that the decision to transfer the authority of the Free Zone Misrata Customs Center to the Director General of the Customs Authority, instead of the Misrata Customs Directorate, constitutes a clear violation of the Authority’s organizational structure and also breaches Customs Guard Law No. 68 of 1972.

The sources added that the Director General also instructed the head of the port customs to take necessary measures to grant export and temporary export approvals in violation of Customs Law No. 10 of 2010.
