The Vice-President of the General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Sabri Al-Bouishi, said during a press conference held by the authority today, Tuesday, in response to a question by our source regarding the authority’s measures taken to a good and free of negligence organization in serving pilgrims this season, saying: “We have taken all the considerations that stipulate the Hajj season. We started working before the Saudi authorities announced that there would be a pilgrimage this year, and we also worked as a team unit in the Board of Directors, and we took all the considerations that would be put forward by the Saudi authorities.”

He added: “There was a committee headed by us during the past months, where we conducted a comprehensive survey of all hotels and transport companies for catering, especially since we know that the level of pilgrims in the State of Libya is excellent in the central region. We also tried to make, during this year, work and standards in Hajj be better than the previous years for our pilgrims until we reach their homeland in peace and safety, starting from the transport lines to the Holy Land to performing the rituals in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.”

In a statement to our source, Al-Huwaij reveals details of very important agreements during his meeting with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry

The Minister of Economy in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Huwaij revealed exclusively to our source about his meeting today with the chambers of commerce and industry that it was agreed with the chambers to develop a vision for diversifying the national economy, and to develop proposals on food security, methods of controlling price increases, and tightening control over the quality of goods imported and produced.

The Central Bank issues instructions to banks to receive land shipping documents for credits of Egyptian origin

Our source obtained exclusively the correspondence of the Director of the Banking Supervision and Monetary Department at the Central Bank of Libya, Tripoli, Mukhtar Al-Tawil to the general managers of the banks.

The correspondence included the Central’s instructions to allow banks to receive land shipping documents related to credits of goods of Egyptian origin, through the assistant land port, according to what was stated in the letter of the Minister of Economy of the National Unity and to give the matter due care towards the supplying companies and verify the integrity of the documents submitted to them and that they conform to legal procedures.

In addition to informing the Banking and Monetary Control Department of any irregularities or suspicions of corruption in particular.
