The Control Authority of Financial Services in Murzuq town (in the south of Libya) has suspended the money distribution to the Social Affairs Board of the town over a quarrel by residents to undertake the office of this board
The suspension has included salaries as well
“There are two persons competing on taking the office of the Social Affairs Board, one of them appointed by the Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli as they another is appointed by the Interim Government in Beida city,” head of The Control Authority of Financial Services in the town Yousef Abdulwahab has told SADA
The money has arrived from GNA as the appointed person by the other government still believes that he is in charge,” he added
Residents have appealed to the Mayor of the town and members of the Municipal Council to intervene to find a solution for this dilemma
